Frequently Asked Questions

Which scale should I choose?
1:100 is the standard for most architectural models — a 10 × 10 m house prints at 10 × 10 cm. Choose 1:75 for presentations where you want maximum detail, or 1:200 for a compact overview model.
How is the price made up?
Each model consists of three components: base house + top floor (Dachgeschoss with roof) + each additional middle floor. The "roof" component is not just the roof — it is the top floor underneath the roof together with the roof itself. Up to 3 additional middle floors can be added — 4 floors maximum in total. A 4-floor house at 1:100 would be €49 + €25 + 3 × €20 = €134.
What material are the models made of?
We use PLA (polylactic acid) — a plant-based plastic that is the standard material for precise scale models. Think of it like a very fine, hard resin: it holds sharp edges, has a smooth matte-white surface, and is sturdy enough to handle and display without breaking. Unlike metals or ceramics it is lightweight, and unlike foam it captures fine wall and door details cleanly. It is also bio-based and recyclable.
How long does shipping take?
We typically print and ship within 3–5 working days. Shipping is €4.99 flat rate within Germany.
